Seating: 1950, VIP seats: 170) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hafriz Siang started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Hafriz Siang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Steven Chong hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Hafriz Siang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faizal Lim came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Camden AF's Steven Chong. But to his dismay, Steven Chong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Hafriz Siang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, one of Camden AF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Camden AF. In the 30th minute there was a penalty for Yaptoon. Bakar Laycock stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jerry Tan. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merlin Tee in the 32nd minute of play forced Camden AF's goalkeeper Jerry Tan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hafriz Siang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Camden AF defense, Rifki Soon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerry Tan. The Camden AF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerry Tan should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute, Yaptoon's Merlin Tee dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Steven Chong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Faizal Lim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Gabriel Hsi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hafriz Siang, 49 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rifki Soon to make the kick off. Faizal Lim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lamar Koh in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute Haziq Hian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Tan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Afriz Pieng took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Faizal Lim to make any attempt to save it. Afriz Pieng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 played minutes Yaptoon got a freekick which was hit by Gage Paine. Steven Chong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Faizal Lim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hafriz Siang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Faizal Lim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Yaptoon's goal looked a bit too open when Hafriz Siang came free, but Faizal Lim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Yaptoon's Gabriel Hsi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gabriel Hsi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Yaptoon protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gabriel Hsi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yaptoon fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! Yaptoon:s Faizal Lim showed great skill when he stopped Hafriz Siang:s penalty. Steven Chong received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Faizal Lim came out and tried to block the shot, but Steven Chong slotted it home off the left post making it 3-4 in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Shahiran Siang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Camden AF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yaptoon the free kick. The supporters of Yaptoon booed when Camden AF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shahiran Siang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bakar Laycock hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the game, Steven Chong lined in a short shot 3-5 behind a frustrated Faizal Lim. Afriz Pieng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faizal Lim having to interfere. Faizal Lim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hafriz Siang in the 99th minute of the match. Hafriz Siang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 101st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faizal Lim having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Camden AF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Yaptoon.
