Spectators: 8533 (Terracing: 6300, Seating: 2050, VIP seats: 183) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wong Hongyi got the match started through his kick off. When Ioan Agachi came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Revengers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ioan Agachi couldn't finish the play. Ipplepens's Samuel Seng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ioan Agachi in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Anil Siong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Seng was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Revengers's Anil Siong got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wong Hongyi got in the 16th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Samuel Seng handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 18 minutes into the game, Ioan Agachi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Samuel Seng was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 22 minutes into the game, Wong Hongyi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Samuel Seng was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shahron Vijiaratnam in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Seng saved Ipplepens from getting behind. After 30 played minutes Ipplepens got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Hong. Ioan Agachi took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Seng. Samuel Seng dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After some careless play in the Ipplepens defense, Wong Hongyi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Seng. The Ipplepens fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Seng should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Anil Siong put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Samuel Seng. If Ioan Agachi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Samuel Seng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anil Siong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, Revengers's Anil Siong nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuel Seng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-9 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Tan Vijiaratnam made the kick off in the second half. Wong Hongyi had several of the Ipplepens's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-10 score and a disappointed Samuel Seng as he didn't even see the shot coming. Tan Vijiaratnam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ioan Agachi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Shahron Vijiaratnam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Seng was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Ipplepens's Samuel Seng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wong Hongyi in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Anil Siong reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Samuel Seng. The goal made the score 0-12. After 77 minutes of play, Revengers's Wong Hongyi made it 0-13 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Seng was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wong Hongyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ioan Agachi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Seng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ipplepens's zone, Anil Siong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Seng came out of the goal and Anil Siong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the game, Revengers's Shahron Vijiaratnam nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuel Seng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-15. With a little luck, Ipplepens's Samuel Seng got control of the ball when Anil Siong tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Revengers left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ipplepens.
