Spectators: 8464 (Terracing: 6344, Seating: 1950, VIP seats: 170) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Haziq Hian got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Yaptoon's goal looked a bit too open when Muhammad Namasivayam came free, but Faizal Lim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wivenhoen's Wei Xuan Yang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Wivenhoen from getting a goal against them. If Bineesh Yang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 8 minutes of play, Wivenhoen's Muhammad Namasivayam made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faizal Lim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Faizal Lim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muhammad Namasivayam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bineesh Yang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Faizal Lim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Muhammad Namasivayam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Muhammad Namasivayam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faizal Lim having to interfere. When Bineesh Yang came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Wivenhoen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bineesh Yang couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gage Paine during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Wivenhoen booed when Yaptoon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gage Paine didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 played minutes, Wivenhoen's Nicholas Tee shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Faizal Lim came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wivenhoen reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Bineesh Yang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wivenhoen's supporters rose to their feet, but Bineesh Yang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faizal Lim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wivenhoen's Muhammad Namasivayam got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gage Paine was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 31 minutes had been played. Muhammad Namasivayam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Faizal Lim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faizal Lim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bineesh Yang in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muhammad Namasivayam in the 36th minute of play forced Yaptoon's goalkeeper Faizal Lim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bineesh Yang scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faizal Lim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yaptoon's Faizal Lim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bineesh Yang in the 43rd minute of play. After 48th play minutes Bineesh Yang shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Faizal Lim and just under the crossbar into goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Muhammad Namasivayam made a kick off. In the 56thth minute of the game Muhammad Namasivayam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yaptoon's Faizal Lim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Muhammad Seah had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wei Xuan Yang. Wivenhoen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Muhammad Seah was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Bineesh Yang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Faizal Lim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-4 became the score in the 70th minute when Muhammad Namasivayam elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Wivenhoen booed when Yaptoon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Namasivayam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bineesh Yang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faizal Lim having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Wivenhoen's Muhammad Namasivayam sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faizal Lim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yaptoon's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Muhammad Namasivayam 86 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-5. 99 minutes into the match, Wivenhoen's Bineesh Yang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faizal Lim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Wivenhoen left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Yaptoon.
