Alam Tan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Hamir Chian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sharizan Chandran in the 7th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zafran Abisheganaden during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Wivenhoen getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Zafran Abisheganaden hit a great ball. In the 11thth minute of the game Alam Tan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yaptoon's Bakar Laycock was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th minute, Rifki Tan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute, Rifki Tan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bakar Laycock. The goal made the score 2-0. Sharizan Chandran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Hamir Chian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alam Tan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alam Tan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bakar Laycock having to interfere. Bakar Laycock stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alam Tan's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the game, one of Wivenhoen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Yaptoon's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Alam Tan scored to the left of an out of position Bakar Laycock, making the score, 3-1. After 42 minutes, Rifki Tan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wivenhoen and the Yaptoon players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Yaptoon getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Anil Ching hit a great ball. Bakar Laycock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khai Shiong in the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Sharizan Chandran made the kick off in the second half. Alam Tan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bakar Laycock having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Rifki Tan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wivenhoen's supporters rose to their feet, but Rifki Tan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bakar Laycock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bakar Laycock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alam Tan in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alam Tan in the 65th minute of play forced Yaptoon's goalkeeper Bakar Laycock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Sharizan Chandran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamir Chian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prime Boon during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alam Tan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bakar Laycock having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Rifki Tan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hamir Chian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sharizan Chandran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hidayat Ee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Alam Tan came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Wivenhoen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alam Tan couldn't finish the play. Alam Tan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Bakar Laycock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Wivenhoen fully deserved thier win.
