When Wong Dyce came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Ken FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wong Dyce couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute, Hafriz Siang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alan Yi-Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afriz Pieng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afriz Pieng in the 40th minute of play forced Ken FC's goalkeeper Alan Yi-Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Shahiran Siang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Camden AF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ken FC the free kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hafriz Siang stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
