After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Alam Laycock managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wivenhoen's supporters rose to their feet, but Alam Laycock was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Firdauz Wenyong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Warer City's goalkeeper Firdauz Wenyong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 20 minutes, Darryl Teo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Warer City and the Wivenhoen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Darryl Teo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Alam Laycock struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Firdauz Wenyong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wivenhoen. Warer City's Firdauz Wenyong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rifki Tan in the 32nd minute of play. Wivenhoen's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Daniel Chai 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 39 minutes into the match, Wivenhoen's Rifki Tan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Firdauz Wenyong narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Chai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Warer City defense, Alam Laycock kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Firdauz Wenyong. The Warer City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Firdauz Wenyong should have stopped the shot. Rifki Tan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Firdauz Wenyong having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A collision led to Warer City getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Shahiran Chong hit a great ball. Darryl Teo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Hamir Chian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darryl Teo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamir Chian having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Chai in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hamir Chian saved Wivenhoen from getting behind. In the 66th minute, Alam Laycock left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wivenhoen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Darryl Teo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamir Chian having to interfere. Alam Laycock made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 76thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Firdauz Wenyong would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 78th minute Daniel Chai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamir Chian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Firdauz Wenyong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rifki Tan's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Wivenhoen's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Chai came free, but Hamir Chian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Darryl Teo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Wivenhoen's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Chai came free, but Hamir Chian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hamir Chian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darryl Teo in the 92nd minute of the match. Darryl Teo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Daniel Chai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wivenhoen's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
