But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohammad Hongyi couldn't finish the play. Hafriz Siang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Darryl Pillai having to make a save. Darryl Pillai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afriz Pieng, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Hafriz Siang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerry Tan was a little too slow when Steven Au got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. Mohammad Hock received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jerry Tan came out and tried to block the shot, but Mohammad Hock slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 20th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Shahiran Siang put in a rough tackle. 23 minutes into the game, one of Camden AF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a little luck, Camden AF's Jerry Tan got control of the ball when Mohammad Hock tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute Mohammad Hongyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Tan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerry Tan was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Mohammad Hongyi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mohammad Hongyi really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afriz Swee in the 36th minute of play forced Camden AF's goalkeeper Jerry Tan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Mohammad Hongyi took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Jerry Tan to make any attempt to save it. Jerry Tan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohammad Hock in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Camden AF booed when Teisir Pollo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohammad Hongyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mohammad Hongyi to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammad Hongyi in the 56th minute of play forced Camden AF's goalkeeper Jerry Tan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerry Tan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohammad Hock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Mohammad Hock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teisir Pollo made a substitution. Khai Ning replaced Steven Au. Alex Wenyong scored 6-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jerry Tan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jerry Tan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afriz Swee went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 79th minute, Mohammad Hongyi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Teisir Pollo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. When the match had been going on for 86 minutes, Camden AF's Hafriz Siang got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Darryl Pillai. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammad Hock in the 90th minute of play forced Camden AF's goalkeeper Jerry Tan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Camden AF's goal looked a bit too open when Mohammad Hongyi came free, but Jerry Tan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
