Spectators: 8510 (Terracing: 6375, Seating: 1955, VIP seats: 180) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ryan Butcher got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryan Butcher in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sarb Tee saved Ipplepens from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Ryan Butcher took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Sarb Tee to make any attempt to save it. 17 minutes into the game, one of Ipplepens:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 19 minutes, Wivenhoen's Hamir Chian got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sarb Tee. After 22 played minutes Wivenhoen got a freekick which was hit by Khai Shiong. In the 24th minute Darryl Hock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wei Xuan Yang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Prime Boon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Darryl Hock came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Ipplepens fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darryl Hock couldn't finish the play. Alam Tan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Sarb Tee made a huge save. Darryl Hock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Wei Xuan Yang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute Ryan Butcher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sarb Tee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ipplepens getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Rifki Siang hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Sarb Tee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alam Tan in the 55th minute of play. After recieving a nice pass, Wivenhoen's Nicholas Abisheganaden tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the game, Rifki Siang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ipplepens's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wivenhoen the free kick. In the 59th match minute, Ipplepens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rifki Siang to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Wivenhoen's Hamir Chian broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Sarb Tee came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Wivenhoen's Alam Tan. But to his dismay, Alam Tan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 65 played minutes Ipplepens got a freekick which was hit by Tan Vijiaratnam. 67 minutes in the game, Ryan Butcher dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Ipplepens's goal looked a bit too open when Ryan Butcher came free, but Sarb Tee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Darryl Hock managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ipplepens's supporters rose to their feet, but Darryl Hock was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wei Xuan Yang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alam Tan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sarb Tee read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. When Alam Tan came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Wivenhoen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alam Tan couldn't finish the play. If Bineesh Yang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darryl Hock struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Wei Xuan Yang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ipplepens. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Ryan Butcher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wivenhoen's supporters rose to their feet, but Ryan Butcher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sarb Tee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 97 minutes into the match, Muhammad Lim sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Wei Xuan Yang threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Muhammad Lim this time.
