Seating: 2112, VIP seats: 183) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Prime Boon got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 11 minutes, Ryan Butcher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wivenhoen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryan Butcher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Wivenhoen getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ryan Butcher hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Sajeev Hui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ken FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sajeev Hui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wei Xuan Yang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ryan Butcher in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Siong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Wivenhoen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ken FC:s goal. Muhammad Peng hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Wivenhoen's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Seng came free, but Wei Xuan Yang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wong Dyce's late challenge caught a Wivenhoen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wong Dyce helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Ken FC got a freekick which was hit by Wong Dyce. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The supporters of Wivenhoen booed when Ken FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steven Seng didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 56th minute of the match Wong Dyce completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Wong Dyce a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Ken FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Wong Dyce hit a great ball. After 57 played minutes, Wivenhoen's 江扬泉 shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniel Siong came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wivenhoen reached it. After a rather tough play, Ken FC's Steven Seng got a free kick in the 58th minute. Ryan Butcher blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Siong having to make a save. Sajeev Hui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Wei Xuan Yang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ryan Butcher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prime Boon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Daniel Siong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ryan Butcher got free with Daniel Siong in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wei Xuan Yang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sajeev Hui in the 84th minute of play. If Prime Boon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Wivenhoen fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Wivenhoen's Ryan Butcher looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Ken FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Fariz Ning hit a great ball. In the 98th minute, 江扬泉 sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ken FC's Daniel Siong didn't even have to move.
