Spectators: 8580 (Terracing: 6400, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 180) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mohammad Hongyi took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Mohammad Hongyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohammad Hongyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Firdauz Wenyong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Mohammad Hongyi sped through Warer City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Firdauz Wenyong. 11 minutes into the game, Rudy Pillai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Warer City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Teisir Pollo the free kick. After a rather tough play, Warer City's Rudy Pillai got a free kick in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Warer City's goal looked a bit too open when Mohammad Hongyi came free, but Firdauz Wenyong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Teisir Pollo's Steven Au in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Warer City's goalie prevented a goal. Mohammad Hongyi struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Firdauz Wenyong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Teisir Pollo. Teisir Pollo's Darryl Pillai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Teisir Pollo from getting a goal against them. Mohammad Hongyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohammad Hongyi might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Firdauz Wenyong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mohammad Hongyi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 25th minute Sharizan Peng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darryl Pillai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Afriz Swee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Teisir Pollo's goalkeeper Darryl Pillai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Ning. Mohammad Hongyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Warer City's Firdauz Wenyong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohammad Hongyi in the 34th minute of play. Mohammad Hongyi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Warer City defense, Mohammad Hongyi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Firdauz Wenyong. The Warer City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Firdauz Wenyong should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Teisir Pollo booed when Warer City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudy Pillai didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Warer City's Ryan Pieng got a free kick in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Warer City's goal looked a bit too open when Mohammad Hock came free, but Firdauz Wenyong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

A collision led to Warer City getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ryan Pieng hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Warer City's goalkeeper Firdauz Wenyong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mohammad Hongyi. Haziq Hui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darryl Pillai having to interfere. Haziq Hui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Warer City booed when Teisir Pollo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iskandar Yip didn't get a good kick on the ball. Warer City's Firdauz Wenyong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohammad Hock in the 69th minute of play. Firdauz Wenyong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohammad Hongyi in the 71st minute of play. Teisir Pollo's Mohammad Hongyi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 72nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohammad Hongyi in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Firdauz Wenyong saved Warer City from getting behind. Darryl Pillai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haziq Hui, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Firdauz Wenyong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohammad Hongyi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Firdauz Wenyong was a little too slow when Mohammad Hongyi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-4. After 96 minutes, Khai Ning mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Teisir Pollo and the Warer City players grew even worse after the yellow card.
