Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Victor Salarila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Candolesa in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Welford's Samuel Sabio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Louis Cabasug made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Samuel Sabio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Louis Cabasug made a huge save. Welford's Cleveland Paranpan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lewis Malacad in the 11 minute of the game. Louis Cabasug made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel Sabio in the 12th minute. When Virgil Tabuyo came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Welford fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgil Tabuyo couldn't finish the play. After having played for 17 minutes, Samuel Sabio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Welford's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Sabio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Candolesa in the 21st minute of play forced Welford's goalkeeper Victor Salarila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lewis Malacad made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Welford's Mark Bonzon. Welford's Virgil Tabuyo got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Welford's Calvin Caluncagin got a free kick in the 27th minute. Louis Cabasug made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Virgil Tabuyo sent off a good shot on target. Louis Cabasug made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Samuel Sabio sent off a good shot on target. Herbert Araneta hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Samuel Sabio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Virgil Tabuyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute of the match, Samuel Sabio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Louis Cabasug was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 52nd minute, Owen Molinos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salbatore Sabile took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Louis Cabasug. Slough AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 57th minute, Donatello Sabile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Sabio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis Cabasug having to interfere. Louis Cabasug showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Sabio in the 63rd minute of the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Samuel Sabio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Welford's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Sabio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute, Virgil Tabuyo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Louis Cabasug was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Samuel Sabio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis Cabasug having to interfere. Herbert Araneta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 82 minutes, Samuel Sabio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Welford's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Sabio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Virgil Tabuyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute Samuel Sabio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Louis Cabasug saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Welford's goalkeeper Victor Salarila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rommel Caraan. 91 minutes into the game, Samuel Sabio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Louis Cabasug was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Welford's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
