The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Kaberks Binotapa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liberato Ariel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Feliciano Echin came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Makati Cafe Havana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Echin couldn't finish the play. Oliverio Cabanatan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lonnie Bunsoy in the 22nd minute of play forced Billingham FC's goalkeeper Pacifico Ganaden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Makati Cafe Havana getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Bienvinido Limbo hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Billingham FC's Parapusle Ybut tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Billingham FC's Liberato Ariel threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kaberks Binotapa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 28th minute, Sidney Bagadiong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 35 minutes, Feliciano Echin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Makati Cafe Havana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliciano Echin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lonnie Bunsoy in the 46th minute of play forced Billingham FC's goalkeeper Pacifico Ganaden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feliciano Echin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Freddy Yambot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Makati Cafe Havana's Bienvinido Limbo got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Oliverio Cabanatan charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oliverio Cabanatan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes Billingham FC got a freekick which was hit by Oliverio Cabanatan. Lonnie Bunsoy kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Makati Cafe Havana's zone, Kaberks Binotapa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liberato Ariel came out of the goal and Kaberks Binotapa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Billingham FC's Pacifico Ganaden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Echin in the 68th minute of play. Makati Cafe Havana's Lonnie Bunsoy got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Makati Cafe Havana's Liberato Ariel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaberks Binotapa in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Makati Cafe Havana's goal looked a bit too open when Kaberks Binotapa came free, but Liberato Ariel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Matthewz Quiodala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liberato Ariel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matthewz Quiodala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Liberato Ariel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 minutes, Sidney Bagadiong mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Makati Cafe Havana and the Billingham FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Makati Cafe Havana getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Sidney Bagadiong hit a great ball. After 93 played minutes, Billingham FC's Parapusle Ybut shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Liberato Ariel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Billingham FC reached it. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
