Lights Out FC's Timothy Kalingasan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dodi Salarila in the 17th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Giant Killers FC's Dodi Salarila nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Timothy Kalingasan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Andrew Brauner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristofor Quinabo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giant Killers FC's Andrew Brauner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristofor Quinabo in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Cristofer Yamguas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lights Out FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristofer Yamguas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristofor Quinabo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Giant Killers FC's Dodi Salarila got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Cristofor Quinabo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lights Out FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristofor Quinabo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrew Brauner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vaughn Ninobla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Vaughn Ninobla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 42 minutes, Cristofer Yamguas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lights Out FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristofer Yamguas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Cristofor Quinabo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cristofer Yamguas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vaughn Ninobla made a kick off. Emelio Sagadraca struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Timothy Kalingasan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Giant Killers FC. If Emelio Sagadraca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrew Brauner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristofer Yamguas in the 59th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Lights Out FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dodi Salarila came free, but Timothy Kalingasan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lights Out FC's Vaughn Ninobla got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lights Out FC's Cristofer Yamguas got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristofer Yamguas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Andrew Brauner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Lights Out FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
