Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pilipinas Banaag started the match with the kick off. Lee Quibola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marion Garong having to interfere. Bagwis Cavite hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the game, Yao Tecson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Prestwich AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Carlos United the free kick. Regelio Chavez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwardo Quiocson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. San Carlos United's Melvin Garcia suffered a concussion after 16 minutes and had to leave the field. Bagwis Cavite charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bagwis Cavite the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of San Carlos United booed when Prestwich AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bagwis Cavite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leroy Barrientos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Regelio Chavez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Pilipinas Banaag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lee Quibola in the 24th minute of play forced San Carlos United's goalkeeper Marion Garong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lee Quibola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anton Mangonon struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Marion Garong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prestwich AFC. 30 minutes into the match, San Carlos United's goal looked a bit too open when Lee Quibola came free, but Marion Garong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marion Garong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Mangonon in the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, San Carlos United's Pilipinas Banaag got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, San Carlos United's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Mangonon came free, but Marion Garong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bugoy Cabanag hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anton Mangonon to strike the kick off in the second half. Jim Gustilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in San Carlos United's zone, Lee Quibola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marion Garong came out of the goal and Lee Quibola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. San Carlos United's Marion Garong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Mangonon in the 62nd minute of play. In the 71stth minute of the game Anton Mangonon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Carlos United's Marion Garong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. San Carlos United's Marion Garong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Mangonon in the 78th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Anton Mangonon put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Marion Garong. Prestwich AFC's Bugoy Cabanag got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute Leroy Barrientos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Regelio Chavez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Leroy Barrientos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anton Mangonon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 minutes of play San Carlos United's Pilipinas Banaag was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, San Carlos United's Pilipinas Banaag got a free kick in the 96th minute. Prestwich AFC played a much better game than San Carlos United and deserved their victory. The San Carlos United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
