The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Renren Suntay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnel Sioson in the 3rd minute of the match. Renren Suntay didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 6th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Clint Deonzon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute, Margarito Bucsit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paul Mationg took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jovanie Macatanban. Jovanie Macatanban dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnel Sioson in the 17th minute of play forced Rizal Striker FC's goalkeeper Renren Suntay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Silas Paludipan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jovanie Macatanban was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 25thth minute of the game Silas Paludipan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SupaStrikas's Jovanie Macatanban was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jovanie Macatanban stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silas Paludipan's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, SupaStrikas's goal looked a bit too open when Misagh Balata came free, but Jovanie Macatanban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rizal Striker FC's Paul Mationg got a free kick in the 30th minute. Jeff Jocson, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The attack was good, but when Silas Paludipan in the 33rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Bagwis Salarila struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Jovanie Macatanban didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rizal Striker FC. Misagh Balata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bayani Buntua's late challenge caught a Rizal Striker FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bayani Buntua helped the player get up and apologised. Rizal Striker FC made a substitution. Romel Cabael replaced Misagh Balata. In the 42nd match minute, SupaStrikas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bayani Buntua to maneuver through the defense. Romel Cabael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jovanie Macatanban having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnel Sioson was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, SupaStrikas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bayani Buntua to maneuver through the defense. Silas Paludipan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Jovanie Macatanban when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Silas Paludipan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silas Paludipan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silas Paludipan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jovanie Macatanban having to make a save. Rizal Striker FC's Chris Lagbas was substituted for Pearl Caballero. With a little luck, SupaStrikas's Jovanie Macatanban got control of the ball when Silas Paludipan tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silas Paludipan in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jovanie Macatanban saved SupaStrikas from getting behind. When Bayani Buntua was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 74 minutes had been played. The supporters of Rizal Striker FC booed when SupaStrikas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bayani Buntua didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Adam Salvador managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rizal Striker FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Salvador was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Silas Paludipan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jovanie Macatanban was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. 81 minutes into the game, Arnel Sioson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SupaStrikas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rizal Striker FC the free kick. Arnel Sioson hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Rizal Striker FC's Romel Cabael sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jovanie Macatanban narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silas Paludipan in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jovanie Macatanban saved SupaStrikas from getting behind. Grover Malacad kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Silas Paludipan made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 95thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Jovanie Macatanban would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Silas Paludipans short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Jovanie Macatanban to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
