Long Eaton's Jumar Servillon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Long Eaton from getting a goal against them. If Phillip Cabuhat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlo Tacuycuy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Lumbang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Crookes getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Eliezer Taasan hit a great ball. In the 18th match minute, Crookes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renren Mamot to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Crookes's Edmund Songco got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 20 minutes of play, Long Eaton's Carlo Tacuycuy made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Lumbang was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patrick Tongson hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Normando Macapulay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Phillip Cabuhat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renren Mamot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Crookes's zone, Phillip Cabuhat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Lumbang came out of the goal and Phillip Cabuhat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the game, Normando Macapulay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Long Eaton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crookes the free kick. In the 41st minute, Normando Macapulay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Crookes's zone, Phillip Cabuhat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Lumbang came out of the goal and Phillip Cabuhat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The wind increased when Renren Mamot made the kick off in the second half. Phillip Cabuhat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Manuel Lumbang made a huge save. Phillip Cabuhat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Lumbang having to interfere. Renren Mamot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jumar Servillon having to interfere. After some careless play in the Long Eaton defense, Danilo Bisaya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jumar Servillon. The Long Eaton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jumar Servillon should have stopped the shot. If Carlo Tacuycuy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Long Eaton getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Carl Gatmaitan hit a great ball. With a little luck, Crookes's Manuel Lumbang got control of the ball when Phillip Cabuhat tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Long Eaton's Carlo Tacuycuy in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Crookes's goalie prevented a goal.
