Danilo Bisaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dogong Calip having to interfere. The wind increased when Renren Mamot made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Manuel Lumbang managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Skegness's Pete Quimque fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 56th minute, Marshall Maganto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Renren Mamot struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Pete Quimque could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Manuel Lumbang however easily saved by the left post. In the 67th minute, Danilo Bisaya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Bisaya in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dogong Calip saved Skegness from getting behind. Crookes's Manuel Lumbang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Tecson in the 74th minute of play. Dogong Calip showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renren Mamot in the 76th minute of the match. Louis Tecsons short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Manuel Lumbang to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 91 minutes, Danilo Bisaya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crookes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Bisaya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Danilo Bisaya's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dogong Calip was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Manuel Lumbang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louis Tecson, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Dogong Calip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Bisaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle.
