When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Papi Masibay sped through San Jacinto United™'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Florentino Garvida. When Igme Querimit came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Manila Bears fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igme Querimit couldn't finish the play. When Manila Bears's Papi Masibay in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Jacinto United™'s goalie prevented a goal. 18 minutes into the game, Manila Bears's Adolph Tumanda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florentino Garvida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Cornelio Guanzon came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ali Vinoray could save by the left post. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Jacinto United™'s goalkeeper Florentino Garvida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ali Vinoray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neckson Tagamolila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Igme Querimit came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Manila Bears fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igme Querimit couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Papi Masibay in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florentino Garvida saved San Jacinto United™ from getting behind. After 46th play minutes Papi Masibay shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Florentino Garvida and just under the crossbar into goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Papi Masibay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, San Jacinto United™'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Papi Masibay fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Luzon Masibay fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Jacinto United™'s protests and gave Luzon Masibay a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, Luzon Masibay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Manila Bears's Gualterio Queppet got a free kick in the 58th minute. After some careless play in the Manila Bears defense, Neckson Tagamolila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Vinoray. The Manila Bears fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Vinoray should have stopped the shot. Allen Paranpan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Garvida having to interfere. Christopher Limson kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Papi Masibay might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florentino Garvida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Papi Masibay ran back to his position shaking his head. Papi Masibay didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-6 via right post in the game's 77th minute. Manila Bears's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 80th minute, Cornelio Guanzon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florentino Garvida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Papi Masibay in the 82nd minute of play. Manila Bears's Adolph Tumanda got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Papi Masibay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Florentino Garvida made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in San Jacinto United™'s zone, Alex Llaban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florentino Garvida came out of the goal and Alex Llaban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The San Jacinto United™ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Manila Bears were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
