San Jacinto United™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Pulupandan the free kick. After 15 played minutes San Jacinto United™ got a freekick which was hit by Luzon Masibay. Cristofor Liongson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Luzon Masibay made a precise shot to the right of Harolde Mercado. FC Pulupandan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 26 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when FC Pulupandan's Tonying Dequilla fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. FC Pulupandan's Heherson Galauran got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tonying Dequilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Neckson Tagamolila managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Jacinto United™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Neckson Tagamolila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harolde Mercado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in San Jacinto United™'s zone, Tonying Dequilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florentino Garvida came out of the goal and Tonying Dequilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Heherson Galauran struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Florentino Garvida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Pulupandan. Tonying Dequilla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Florentino Garvida made a huge save. Cristofor Liongson might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florentino Garvida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristofor Liongson ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, San Jacinto United™'s Robert Matundan got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pacifico Perez in the 62nd minute of play forced San Jacinto United™'s goalkeeper Florentino Garvida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66thth minute of the game Tonying Dequilla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Jacinto United™'s Florentino Garvida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Neckson Tagamolila's late challenge caught a FC Pulupandan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Neckson Tagamolila helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Pulupandan booed when San Jacinto United™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neckson Tagamolila didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tonying Dequilla in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florentino Garvida saved San Jacinto United™ from getting behind. When Tonying Dequilla came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the FC Pulupandan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tonying Dequilla couldn't finish the play. Florentino Garvida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tonying Dequilla in the 87th minute of play. Heherson Galauran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Florentino Garvida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tonying Dequilla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florentino Garvida was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Heherson Galauran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute.
