Spectators: 7842 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 0) Papi Masibay made the kick off and thus started the match. With an all-out effort, Philippine Azkals's Ali Vinoray threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ian Bagongarao, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jack Monzon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ali Vinoray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 played minutes Ian Bagongarao rounded Manila Bears's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After 17 played minutes Philippine Azkals got a freekick which was hit by Jack Monzon. After having played for 18 minutes, Gualterio Queppet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manila Bears's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Queppet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 minutes of play, Manila Bears's Igme Querimit made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Berting Tulabing was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Igme Querimit managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manila Bears's supporters rose to their feet, but Igme Querimit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berting Tulabing breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th match minute, Philippine Azkals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Monzon to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Tito Bengco notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Manila Bears's Ali Vinoray. Ali Vinoray was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Igme Querimit scored 2-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Berting Tulabing, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Berting Tulabing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Papi Masibay in the 39th minute of play. Adolph Tumanda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Berting Tulabing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Igme Querimit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manila Bears's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igme Querimit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adolph Tumanda kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. If Ian Bagongarao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ian Bagongarao stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Philippine Azkals's Berting Tulabing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Philippine Azkals from getting a goal against them. Adolph Tumanda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Berting Tulabing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Papi Masibay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Papi Masibay in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Berting Tulabing, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 63 minutes into the game, Jack Monzon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Philippine Azkals's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manila Bears the free kick. Jack Monzon kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After 65 minutes, Papi Masibay made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Philippine Azkals's Berting Tulabing tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Adolph Tumanda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Igme Querimit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berting Tulabing having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Oscar Dacalcap hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Allen Paranpan scored 2-4 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Berting Tulabing, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Philippine Azkals's zone, Adolph Tumanda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berting Tulabing came out of the goal and Adolph Tumanda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Philippine Azkals's Jack Monzon got a free kick in the 84th minute. The Philippine Azkals fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Manila Bears were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
