Marion Yalung showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Nagemine Syn FC's Marion Yalung sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Berting Tulabing narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Philippine Azkals's zone, Nginamz Hartmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berting Tulabing came out of the goal and Nginamz Hartmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berting Tulabing stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marion Yalung's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After 12 played minutes Philippine Azkals got a freekick which was hit by Elijah Tongol. In the 14th minute Elijah Tongol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abraham Donieza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Nagemine Syn FC booed when Philippine Azkals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rizalino Jacutin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Philippine Azkals's Berting Tulabing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lee Singson in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Nagemine Syn FC's Marion Yalung ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Berting Tulabing. Berting Tulabing yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 30 minutes into the match, Marion Yalung dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Berting Tulabing, 3-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marion Yalung was the one to do the kick off. Marion Yalung might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Berting Tulabing. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marion Yalung ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Philippine Azkals's zone, Florinio Cabili stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berting Tulabing came out of the goal and Florinio Cabili tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Marion Yalung got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Nagemine Syn FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Monzon came free, but Abraham Donieza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Berting Tulabing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lee Singson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nagemine Syn FC's Abraham Donieza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Nagemine Syn FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Nagemine Syn FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Florinio Cabili hit a great ball. Philippine Azkals's Berting Tulabing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marion Yalung in the 68th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lee Singson in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Berting Tulabing prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Bagongarao in the 72nd minute of play forced Nagemine Syn FC's goalkeeper Abraham Donieza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berting Tulabing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marion Yalung in the 74th minute of play. Elijah Tongol came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Abraham Donieza could save by the left post. In the 77th minute Florinio Cabili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berting Tulabing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nagemine Syn FC's Jeff Matundan got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Berting Tulabing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marion Yalung, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When Nagemine Syn FC's Marion Yalung in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Philippine Azkals's goalie prevented a goal. Nagemine Syn FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
