The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bedlington AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ref Calilan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernard Tagasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florence Yengko got free with Bernard Tagasa in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Florence Yengko who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Bernard Tagasa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Parapusle Dalugdugan kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes, Geddington's Luzvimindo Bengzon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rambo Quinot came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Geddington reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natanael Tizon during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Geddington defense, Florence Yengko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernard Tagasa. The Geddington fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernard Tagasa should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Geddington's Natanael Tizon got a free kick in the 31st minute. If Florentino Yambot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernard Tagasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Yambot in the 36th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Florentino Yambot sped through Geddington's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernard Tagasa. In the 42nd minute, Florence Yengko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Florentino Yambot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernard Tagasa was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Florence Yengko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Bernard Tagasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bedlington AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florence Yengko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61stth minute of the game Florentino Yambot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Geddington's Bernard Tagasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ref Calilan during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Florentino Yambot struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Bernard Tagasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bedlington AFC. Florentino Yambot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Tagasa having to interfere.
