Spectators: 7495 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 145) After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Jerome Zerrudo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Philippine AZkals's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerome Zerrudo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dogong Cusi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Allado in the 10th minute of play forced Philippine AZkals's goalkeeper Andrew Mamot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Adam Allado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grimsby Town FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The attack was good, but when Adam Allado in the 14th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Grimsby Town FC's Marshall Ruffy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andrew Mamot. That made the score 2-0 after 16 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Grimsby Town FC's zone, Leonides Sia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dogong Cusi came out of the goal and Leonides Sia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Philippine AZkals's Andrew Mamot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Philippine AZkals from getting a goal against them. In the 27th match minute, Philippine AZkals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elmer Congson to maneuver through the defense. Grimsby Town FC's Marshall Ruffy got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Allado in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrew Mamot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Philippine AZkals's Andrew Mamot got control of the ball when Marshall Ruffy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adam Allado might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrew Mamot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adam Allado ran back to his position shaking his head. Bern Madali struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Dogong Cusi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Philippine AZkals. If Marshall Ruffy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Marshall Ruffy scored 3-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andrew Mamot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Marshall Ruffy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Adam Allado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grimsby Town FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Leonides Sia scored to the left of an out of position Dogong Cusi, making the score, 3-1. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Philippine AZkals's goalkeeper Andrew Mamot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aurelius Baradi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Dogong Cusi made a huge save. Marshall Ruffy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marshall Ruffy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andrew Mamot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Grimsby Town FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
