Spectators: 6839 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1839, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anthony Bongubung got the match started through his kick off. After 6 played minutes Thanet got a freekick which was hit by Cecil Jocson. After a defensive mix-up in Thanet's zone, Anthony Bongubung stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Szeke Hosseinzadeh came out of the goal and Anthony Bongubung tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Thanet's Hernando Amurao got a free kick in the 8th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Thanet's goalkeeper Szeke Hosseinzadeh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliciano Junco. Anthony Bongubung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliciano Junco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Szeke Hosseinzadeh skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 25 played minutes, Upwell's Isagani Joson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Szeke Hosseinzadeh came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Upwell reached it. After 29 played minutes Upwell got a freekick which was hit by Jesan Conlu. After 34 played minutes, Thanet's Jonas Madjini shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Henso Lagos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Thanet reached it. 36 minutes into the match, Upwell's Feliciano Junco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Szeke Hosseinzadeh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Feliciano Junco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szeke Hosseinzadeh having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Bagwis Yatco in the 42nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Elyboy Laganson's late challenge caught a Thanet's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elyboy Laganson helped the player get up and apologised.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cecil Jocson to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Thanet got a freekick which was hit by Calvin Lapitan. In the 61st match minute, Thanet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramil Bengzon to maneuver through the defense. Upwell's Henso Lagos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Upwell from getting a goal against them. Anthony Bongubung received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Szeke Hosseinzadeh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bagwis Yatco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Henso Lagos made a huge save. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Thanet's goalkeeper Szeke Hosseinzadeh, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bagwis Yatco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henso Lagos having to interfere. The supporters of Upwell booed when Thanet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramil Bengzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Anthony Bongubung shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szeke Hosseinzadeh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szeke Hosseinzadeh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Bongubung, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anthony Bongubung in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Szeke Hosseinzadeh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 97th minute Anthony Bongubung shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szeke Hosseinzadeh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
