After 4 played minutes Phase V FC got a freekick which was hit by Sylvester Yalung. Sylvester Yalung kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Upwell got a freekick which was hit by Reynante Saliba. Philipo Luzon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henso Lagos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. If Stanley Henson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Stanley Henson in the 22nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 27 minutes into the match, Upwell's goal looked a bit too open when Philipo Luzon came free, but Henso Lagos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boni Locsin kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Isagani Joson's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Noli Bandigas on his right side and into the goal. 30 minutes into the game it was 0-1. Anthony Bongubung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliciano Junco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noli Bandigas having to interfere. Phase V FC's Philipo Luzon got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anthony Bongubung might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Noli Bandigas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anthony Bongubung ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philipo Luzon in the 45th minute of play forced Upwell's goalkeeper Henso Lagos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 minutes of play, Phase V FC's Stanley Henson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henso Lagos was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anthony Bongubung stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Upwell's goalkeeper Henso Lagos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stanley Henson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henso Lagos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Philipo Luzon's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliciano Junco got free with Noli Bandigas in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Phase V FC's zone, Ponyong Cabael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noli Bandigas came out of the goal and Ponyong Cabael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Feliciano Junco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Feliciano Junco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 played minutes Phase V FC got a freekick which was hit by Bagwis Sadural. The Upwell players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
