Lloyd Dorilag showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nonoy Manawis, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, Ledbury's Otis Tagarro got a free kick in the 42nd minute. If Alonzo Ninobla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Derby booed when Ledbury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melvin Lofranco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jake Tolentino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lloyd Dorilag having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Noli Cacalda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abusayyaff Velasquez in the 64th minute of the match. Nonoy Manawis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Abusayyaff Velasquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Noli Cacalda was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. 82 minutes into the game, Meliton Cruz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lloyd Dorilag. Meliton Cruz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Noli Cacalda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abusayyaff Velasquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Derby had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
