An unexpectedly hard shot by Pitoy Taboyayong in the 18th minute of play forced Milagros FC's goalkeeper Rommel Bustamante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milton Batungbacal couldn't finish the play. After 80 minutes, Milton Batungbacal made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pilak FC's Herman Quimpo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dennis Blancada's late challenge caught a Pilak FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Milagros FC had played much better football throughout.
