If Bayani Diamante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the game, Crisanto Yengko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. United City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rgh the free kick. Timothy Palisoc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bayani Diamante in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eddie Lumbang saved United City from getting behind. United City's Eddie Lumbang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayani Diamante in the 19th minute of play. Eddie Lumbang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Modig, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, United City's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Modig came free, but Eddie Lumbang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th match minute, United City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Yalung to maneuver through the defense. Eddie Lumbang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Modig in the 30th minute of play. Kurt Modig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Lumbang having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Claude Brillantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 played minutes United City got a freekick which was hit by Claude Brillantes. 38 minutes into the game, Kurt Modig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Eddie Lumbang was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Aga Ocampo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eddie Lumbang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kurt Modig went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. When Rgh's Kurt Modig in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye United City's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Gualterio Yalung made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kurt Modig in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eddie Lumbang saved United City from getting behind. 60 minutes into the game, Kurt Modig recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eddie Lumbang. Kurt Modig showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. 79 minutes in the game, Kurt Modig dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. United City's Eddie Lumbang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Modig in the 81st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kurt Modig in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eddie Lumbang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee felt a red card was in order, 85 minutes into the game, when Crisanto Yengko put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of United City:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rgh:s goal. When the match had been going on for 87 minutes, Rgh's Timothy Palisoc got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Eddie Lumbang. In the 91st minute Kurt Modig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Lumbang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, United City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Pecson to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute Kurt Modig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Lumbang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bayani Diamante in the 98th minute of play forced United City's goalkeeper Eddie Lumbang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Rgh supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rgh would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
