After 9 played minutes Cowes City got a freekick which was hit by Rizal Baysac. Gilbert Calambacal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bill Lombos in the 10th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Levi Quiambao during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Isle Of Dogs booed when Cowes City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Levi Quiambao didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilbert Calambacal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bill Lombos in the 15th minute of play. If Honoratas Emperio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isle Of Dogs's Dyango Capati suffered a sore thigh after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Rizal Baysac's late challenge caught a Isle Of Dogs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rizal Baysac helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th minute Honoratas Emperio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Calambacal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Martin Sioson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Cowes City's Levi Quiambao got a free kick in the 31st minute. The Isle Of Dogs fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Isle Of Dogs's Honoratas Emperio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Honoratas Emperio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Cowes City's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Sioson came free, but Gilbert Calambacal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honoratas Emperio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honoratas Emperio struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Gilbert Calambacal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Isle Of Dogs. The supporters of Isle Of Dogs booed when Cowes City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Cuizon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Honoratas Emperio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Elmer Quiogue kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Norman Ortega charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Cowes City's Levi Quiambao got his second yellow card of the match in the 62nd minute. The referee ordered Levi Quiambao off the ground. A collision led to Cowes City getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Levi Quiambao hit a great ball. Norberto Villarino, 64 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Honoratas Emperio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Gilbert Calambacal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 68 minutes of play, Isle Of Dogs's Martin Sioson made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilbert Calambacal was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match was over Isle Of Dogs could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cowes City throughout the match.
