When Alonzo Pasinabo fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guiseley's protests and gave Alonzo Pasinabo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Guiseley getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Alonzo Pasinabo hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Levi Golez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute Timothy Luansing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isko Yuson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Guiseley's zone, Dodi Nakpawan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bayani Naguit came out of the goal and Dodi Nakpawan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Bloomsbury AFC booed when Guiseley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Quengua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dodi Nakpawan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bayani Naguit made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Levi Golez sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute, Ali Servillon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Dodi Nakpawan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bloomsbury AFC's Levi Golez got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Guiseley's goal looked a bit too open when Dodi Nakpawan came free, but Bayani Naguit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Bayani Naguit managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Bloomsbury AFC's Levi Golez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Bayani Naguit stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dodi Nakpawan's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. A collision led to Bloomsbury AFC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Freddy Mellendrez hit a great ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bayani Naguit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 70 minutes, Levi Golez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bloomsbury AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Levi Golez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ora Quirimit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th match minute, Bloomsbury AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Junco to maneuver through the defense. Ora Quirimit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Timothy Luansing left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guiseley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 84 minutes into the match, Guiseley's goal looked a bit too open when Levi Golez came free, but Bayani Naguit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dodi Nakpawan in the 85th minute of play forced Guiseley's goalkeeper Bayani Naguit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Levi Golez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dodi Nakpawan struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Bayani Naguit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bloomsbury AFC. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bloomsbury AFC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
