With a little luck, Kirkby in Ashfield United's Rommel Songco got control of the ball when Jerome Bandigas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kobe Abayari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milton Tiaoqui, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 40th minute Gregoria Kabayao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rommel Songco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruffy Icban kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kirkby in Ashfield United's Milton Tiaoqui got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Gregoria Kabayao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gregoria Kabayao to make the kick off. Kobe Abayari made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Milton Tiaoqui sent off a good shot on target. Christopher Mangalus hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute Jerome Ligutan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kobe Abayari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gregoria Kabayao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Feliciano Marcellana came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Barhill fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Marcellana couldn't finish the play. Gregoria Kabayao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Rommel Songco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliciano Marcellana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rommel Songco having to make a save. 96 minutes into the match, Kirkby in Ashfield United's goal looked a bit too open when Gregoria Kabayao came free, but Rommel Songco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Despite being the better team, Barhill failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
