Harold Bedic charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harold Bedic the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Harold Bedic hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Rammynnos Sanqui put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Isko Yuson. After 16 minutes of play, Newton on Ouse's Phillip Cabanag made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isko Yuson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the game, Rammynnos Sanqui cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Isko Yuson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rammynnos Sanqui might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isko Yuson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rammynnos Sanqui ran back to his position shaking his head. Bloomsbury AFC's Isko Yuson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phillip Cabanag in the 25th minute of play. Frederick Caballero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dodi Nakpawan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 26 minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Newton on Ouse's goalkeeper Frederick Caballero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dodi Nakpawan. After 34 minutes, Wallace Lumungsod mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newton on Ouse and the Bloomsbury AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wallace Lumungsod hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Frederick Caballero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dodi Nakpawan in the 38th minute of the match. Wallace Lumungsod was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 40 minutes into the match, Newton on Ouse's goal looked a bit too open when Dodi Nakpawan came free, but Frederick Caballero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Dodi Nakpawan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederick Caballero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dodi Nakpawan was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Rammynnos Sanqui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newton on Ouse's supporters rose to their feet, but Rammynnos Sanqui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isko Yuson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rammynnos Sanqui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dodi Nakpawan scored 2-3 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frederick Caballero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 59 minutes into the match, Newton on Ouse's goal looked a bit too open when Ira Banaag came free, but Frederick Caballero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Ira Banaag left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bloomsbury AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. After a defensive mix-up in Bloomsbury AFC's zone, Alvin Italia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isko Yuson came out of the goal and Alvin Italia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st match minute, Bloomsbury AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramil Nogoy to maneuver through the defense. Isko Yuson came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Newton on Ouse's Rammynnos Sanqui. But to his dismay, Rammynnos Sanqui quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Dave Yalung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frederick Caballero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dodi Nakpawan in the 78th minute of the match. Leigh Ortega kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Dodi Nakpawan might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frederick Caballero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dodi Nakpawan ran back to his position shaking his head. Timothy Caminos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederick Caballero having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Dodi Nakpawan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederick Caballero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frederick Caballero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ira Banaag, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederick Caballero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dodi Nakpawan, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Natanael Quengua made a great header on Bloomsbury AFC's corner, it was just that Newton on Ouse's Frederick Caballero managed to reach the ball for a save. Guy Omaga was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 90 minutes into the match. In the 93rd match minute, Newton on Ouse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phillip Cabanag to maneuver through the defense. Frederick Caballero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Yalung, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bloomsbury AFC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Ramil Nogoy hit a great ball. Phillip Cabanag could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Isko Yuson made a huge save. When the match was over Newton on Ouse could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bloomsbury AFC throughout the match.
