Bartoleme Mazmela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Palugod having to interfere. After some careless play in the GenSan defense, Tondo Ganzon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar Palugod. The GenSan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Palugod should have stopped the shot. If Tol Paulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 9 minutes into the game, Tondo Ganzon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Edgar Palugod was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Tondo Ganzon sped through GenSan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edgar Palugod. In the 14th minute, Tol Paulin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Palugod was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 17 minutes into the match, Bartoleme Mazmela notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of GenSan's Edgar Palugod. Edgar Palugod was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 24th minute Tondo Ganzon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Palugod saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Palugod came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. Cagayan Academy's Bartoleme Mazmela. But to his dismay, Bartoleme Mazmela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. In the 32nd match minute, F.C. Cagayan Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jasper Famador to maneuver through the defense. GenSan's Edgar Palugod played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tol Paulin in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Tondo Ganzon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Palugod. GenSan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tondo Ganzon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Tondo Ganzon kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Tondo Ganzon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C. Cagayan Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. Edgar Palugod showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tondo Ganzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After some careless play in the GenSan defense, Bartoleme Mazmela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar Palugod. The GenSan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Palugod should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-11 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Oliverios Lombos kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tol Paulin in the 52nd minute of play forced GenSan's goalkeeper Edgar Palugod to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tol Paulin came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edgar Palugod could save by the left post. 56 minutes into the game, Oliver Quengua was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GenSan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. Cagayan Academy the free kick. After 56 played minutes GenSan got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Quengua. Tondo Ganzon scored 0-12 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar Palugod, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60th match minute, GenSan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romnick Sarigumba to maneuver through the defense. After 61 minutes, Tol Paulin made it 0-13 with a short kick to the right side. GenSan's Edgar Palugod tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 64 minutes into the game, Tol Sablon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. Cagayan Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GenSan the free kick. Tol Sablon kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. GenSan were furious when Pete Chavez was red carded, 66 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 68th minute, F.C. Cagayan Academy's Tondo Ganzon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edgar Palugod. Edgar Palugod yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-14. Tol Sablon took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Palugod. Edgar Palugod dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-15. After a rather tough play, F.C. Cagayan Academy's Tol Sablon got a free kick in the 74th minute. Tol Paulin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-16 in the 80th playminute. In the 84th minute, Tol Paulin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C. Cagayan Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-17. Edgar Palugod showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tondo Ganzon in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Tondo Ganzon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Palugod was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-18. F.C. Cagayan Academy played a much better game than GenSan and deserved their victory. The GenSan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
