In the 12th minute Jacob Cacalda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Palugod saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Edwin Domekyas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Palugod. GenSan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edwin Domekyas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 17 minutes into the match, GenSan's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Jaddon came free, but Edgar Palugod reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Thilo Pollakowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Palugod. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin Domekyas in the 23rd minute of play forced GenSan's goalkeeper Edgar Palugod to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Peppermint Candy booed when GenSan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Quengua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edwin Domekyas scored 0-5 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar Palugod, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgar Palugod showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Jaddon in the 27th minute of the match. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bayani Mangkay the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of GenSan protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bayani Mangkay had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in GenSan fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! In the 49th minute there was a penalty for Peppermint Candy. Edgar Salavia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Edgar Palugod. 0-7.

Edgar Palugod made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edwin Domekyas in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, GenSan's goalkeeper Edgar Palugod had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thilo Pollakowski. The crowd rose to their feet as Peppermint Candy's Jacob Cacalda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edgar Palugod. That made the score 0-8 after 60 minutes of play. Jacob Cacalda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Palugod having to interfere. After 64 played minutes GenSan got a freekick which was hit by Pete Chavez. When Edgar Salavia came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Peppermint Candy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Salavia couldn't finish the play. After 69 minutes, Tommy Jaddon made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. GenSan's Edgar Palugod tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edwin Domekyas came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edgar Palugod could save by the left post. 76 minutes into the match, Tommy Jaddon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edgar Palugod, 0-10. With a little luck, GenSan's Edgar Palugod got control of the ball when Edwin Domekyas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tommy Jaddon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Palugod made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Cacalda in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Peppermint Candy's Thilo Pollakowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. 93 minutes into the game, Peppermint Candy's Thilo Pollakowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgar Palugod made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. Tommy Jaddon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GenSan's Edgar Palugod played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thilo Pollakowski in the 99th minute of play. Peppermint Candy played a much better game than GenSan and deserved their victory. The GenSan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
