An unexpectedly hard shot by Tondo Ganzon in the 7th minute of play forced Fleet FC's goalkeeper Vicente Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, F.C. Cagayan Academy's Tondo Ganzon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After having played for 13 minutes, Jess Dalaque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fleet FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jess Dalaque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jess Dalaque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tol Paulin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Vicente Meireles made a huge save. Fleet FC's Vicente Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tondo Ganzon in the 25th minute of play. Vicente Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tondo Ganzon in the 27th minute of the match. Vicente Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tondo Ganzon in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, F.C. Cagayan Academy's Tol Sablon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vicente Meireles. Vicente Meireles yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. When Jess Dalaque fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fleet FC's protests and gave Jess Dalaque a yellow card for diving instead. 39 minutes into the match, Fleet FC's goalkeeper Vicente Meireles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tol Paulin. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Tondo Ganzon made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartoleme Mazmela in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Meireles saved Fleet FC from getting behind. Tol Paulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Meireles having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Fleet FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tondo Ganzon came free, but Vicente Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59thth minute of the game Bartoleme Mazmela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fleet FC's Vicente Meireles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tol Paulin in the 60th minute of play forced Fleet FC's goalkeeper Vicente Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tondo Ganzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Vicente Meireles came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. Cagayan Academy's Tondo Ganzon. But to his dismay, Tondo Ganzon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tondo Ganzon in the 70th minute of play forced Fleet FC's goalkeeper Vicente Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of F.C. Cagayan Academy booed when Fleet FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Dayot didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Fleet FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tondo Ganzon came free, but Vicente Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter Quimson hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Tol Sablon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jess Dalaque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ninoy Pecson made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Jurand Haskiewicz sent off a good shot on target. Vicente Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tondo Ganzon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Tol Paulin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vicente Meireles. Fleet FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tol Paulin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0.
