Pandapotan Ketaren started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Eastern Oi! Football Club's Bento Sinuraya got a free kick in the 5th minute. When Ade Panjaitan fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salinaoe FC's protests and gave Ade Panjaitan a yellow card for diving instead. Ade Panjaitan hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Awalludin Mainaky managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eastern Oi! Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Awalludin Mainaky was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Salinaoe FC's Porman Kaban proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Salinaoe FC from getting a goal against them. After 20 minutes, Pandapotan Ketaren made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Eastern Oi! Football Club's Paijo Budiarto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute, Mario Kaban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Awalludin Mainaky in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Porman Kaban saved Salinaoe FC from getting behind. Candra Mainaky sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 35 minutes into the match, Eastern Oi! Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Candra Mainaky came free, but Paijo Budiarto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salinaoe FC's Pandapotan Ketaren got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Candra Mainaky in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paijo Budiarto saved Eastern Oi! Football Club from getting behind. Paijo Budiarto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pandapotan Ketaren went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Awalludin Mainaky to strike the kick off in the second half. Paijo Budiarto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pandapotan Ketaren in the 59th minute of play. When Iswadi Kooth fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Bulsky Karo-karo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Porman Kaban read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After 65 minutes of play, Eastern Oi! Football Club's Awalludin Mainaky made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Porman Kaban was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bulsky Karo-karo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Porman Kaban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Eastern Oi! Football Club booed when Salinaoe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iswadi Kooth didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Awalludin Mainaky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Awalludin Mainaky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Porman Kaban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bulsky Karo-karo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paijo Budiarto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pandapotan Ketaren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bulsky Karo-karo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
