In the 17th minute, Henry Fitriansyah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karanglo FC's Henry Wibowo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Porman Sinulingga in the 19th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dian Chaniago made a kick off. If Porman Sinulingga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The tension between the Karanglo FC and the PSM Hikun players grew even worse after the yellow card. Karanglo FC:s Henry Wibowo showed great skill when he stopped Joshua Muchtaji:s penalty. Henry Fitriansyah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Henry Wibowo made a huge save. When Jojo Darwis fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karanglo FC's protests and gave Jojo Darwis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Karanglo FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play.
