Donnie Wibowo started the match with the kick off. After 7 minutes of play, Sibadeh's Fery Akmal made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andi Subagdja was left in no man's land by his defense there! Iswadi Sinambela kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When Heri Yarman fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PSS Rawameneng's protests and gave Heri Yarman a yellow card for diving instead. 19 minutes into the match, PSS Rawameneng's goalkeeper Andi Subagdja had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boy Haryanto. Cecep Dermawan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The attack was good, but when Donnie Wibowo in the 22nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 27th minute, Iswadi Sinambela made a precise shot to the right of Lelo Perangin-angin. Sibadeh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 31 minutes into the game, Boy Haryanto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Andi Subagdja was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of PSS Rawameneng booed when Sibadeh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Reza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Donnie Wibowo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Fery Akmal made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind PSS Rawameneng's goalkeeper Andi Subagdja, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Heri Yarman got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 57 minutes, Fery Akmal made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. PSS Rawameneng's Andi Subagdja tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cecep Dermawan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fery Akmal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andi Subagdja having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Boy Haryanto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sibadeh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Fery Akmal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andi Subagdja having to interfere. When Fery Akmal came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Sibadeh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fery Akmal couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute, Donnie Wibowo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Fery Akmal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andi Subagdja was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Fery Akmal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Boy Haryanto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
