Martin Sitorus helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute, Martin Sitorus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rexy Chaniago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 9th play minutes Heri Yarman shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Bulek Ridliwan and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Sokapung getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Martin Sitorus hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sokapung's zone, Rexy Chaniago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bulek Ridliwan came out of the goal and Rexy Chaniago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heri Yarman in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bulek Ridliwan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute, Heri Yarman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sokapung! Rexy Chaniago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Bulek Ridliwan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Rexy Chaniago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Bulek Ridliwan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Heri Yarman scored 0-4 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bulek Ridliwan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kia Akmal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sokapung's Bulek Ridliwan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Sokapung from getting a goal against them. Heri Yarman came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bulek Ridliwan could save by the left post. Gendo Suprianto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paijo Sinulingga having to make a save. 65 minutes into the game, Elie Idris was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Suren FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sokapung the free kick. After 66 minutes of play, Sokapung's Paijo Simanungkalit made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paijo Sinulingga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Heri Yarman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bulek Ridliwan having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Rexy Chaniago's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bulek Ridliwan was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Heri Yarman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bulek Ridliwan having to interfere. Bulek Ridliwan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heri Yarman, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gendo Suprianto during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sokapung's Gendo Suprianto got a free kick in the 84th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Paijo Simanungkalit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sokapung's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paijo Simanungkalit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kia Akmal in the 97th minute of play forced Suren FC's goalkeeper Paijo Sinulingga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Suren FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sokapung throughout the match.
