Paijo Wibowo hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Steve Guci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haikal Ridliwan in the 20th minute of play. If Bulsky Kaban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iswadi Sembiring sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Critters FC's Porman Barus got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Porman Barus in the 34th minute of play forced Oekoei's goalkeeper Joshua Hidayat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Donny Bangun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Critters FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donny Bangun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joshua Hidayat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Porman Barus in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Iswadi Sembiring shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joshua Hidayat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steve Guci made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Dian Guci sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th minute Haikal Ridliwan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve Guci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The goalkeeper, Joshua Hidayat, was totally fooled by Critters FC's Bulsky Kaban, who 53 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paijo Wibowo in the 59th minute of play forced Critters FC's goalkeeper Steve Guci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Porman Barus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iswadi Sembiring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joshua Hidayat having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Porman Barus in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joshua Hidayat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Donny Bangun kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The Critters FC fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Critters FC's Porman Barus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 88 minutes into the match, Critters FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dian Guci came free, but Steve Guci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Porman Barus came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Critters FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Porman Barus couldn't finish the play. If Porman Barus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
