After a rather tough play, Faturei FC's Rexy Barus got a free kick in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Kitam Kooth notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Faturei FC's Hastomo Waluyo. Hastomo Waluyo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Kitam Kooth put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Hastomo Waluyo. After 11 minutes, Henry Simamora mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Faturei FC and the Payabenua FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 12 minutes into the match, Faturei FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kitam Kooth came free, but Hastomo Waluyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dian Simamora made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Steve Dermawan sent off a good shot on target. Hastomo Waluyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andra Romatua in the 15th minute of play. Dian Simamora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Simamora in the 18th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Payabenua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zulfikar Fitriansyah came free, but Dian Simamora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dian Simamora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Simamora, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. A collision led to Payabenua FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Zulfikar Akmal hit a great ball. Hastomo Waluyo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kitam Kooth's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Andra Cahyono Putro took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hastomo Waluyo. Hastomo Waluyo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Kitam Kooth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hastomo Waluyo having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henry Simamora was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kitam Kooth in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hastomo Waluyo saved Faturei FC from getting behind. After 59 minutes, Mario Hidayat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Faturei FC and the Payabenua FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Payabenua FC booed when Faturei FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Hidayat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rexy Barus kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Kitam Kooth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hastomo Waluyo was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. If Zulfikri Wibowo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Hastomo Waluyo managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Payabenua FC's Kitam Kooth fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Andra Cahyono Putro scored 1-6 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hastomo Waluyo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andra Romatua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Hastomo Waluyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faturei FC's Hastomo Waluyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kitam Kooth in the 96th minute of play. In the 98th minute Andra Romatua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hastomo Waluyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Payabenua FC played a much better game than Faturei FC and deserved their victory. The Faturei FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
