PSP Baoerena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kitam Karo-karo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferry Ketaren in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zulfikar Ginting saved Malaysia FC from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, Malaysia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferry Ketaren came free, but Zulfikar Ginting reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Ferry Ketaren made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferry Ketaren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zulfikar Ginting. That made the score 1-9 in the 90 minute of play. Haikal Suprianto charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haikal Suprianto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Malaysia FC booed when PSP Baoerena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haikal Suprianto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th minute, Kitam Karo-karo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. PSP Baoerena played a much better game than Malaysia FC and deserved their victory. The Malaysia FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
