In the 13th minute Heri Akmal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Belmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Wellington's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Arbi came free, but Maximino Belmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wellington's Maximino Belmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heri Akmal in the 17th minute of play. Maximino Belmiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heri Akmal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wellington's Daus Ginting managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Donnie Sipayung in the 22 minute of the game. 25 minutes into the match, Wellington's goal looked a bit too open when Heri Akmal came free, but Maximino Belmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wellington's Maximino Belmiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Wellington from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Maximino Belmiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 64 minutes Wellington's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner.
