Wellington's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ichwan Ie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Maximino Belmiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kitam Rai went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 19 minutes into the match, Wellington's goal looked a bit too open when Kitam Rai came free, but Maximino Belmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Belmiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kitam Rai, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Moemoe's Ichwan Ie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximino Belmiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 37th minute, Jojo Sinulingga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moemoe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Micky Ridliwan made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Wellington's Andra Dewa. Robbie Suprianto kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Ichwan Ie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximino Belmiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robbie Suprianto to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Moemoe's Micky Ridliwan got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Wellington's Daus Ginting managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Micky Ridliwan in the 56 minute of the game. Jojo Sinulingga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Maximino Belmiro made a huge save. Maximino Belmiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ichwan Ie in the 67th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kitam Rai got free with Maximino Belmiro in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
