Badjau's Adith Dewa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ichwan Ie in the 13th minute of play. Adith Dewa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kitam Rai in the 14th minute. Moemoe's Ichwan Ie got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute Heri Akmal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Djati Fitriansyah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Donnie Sarwanto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Rabun Tarigan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Kitam Rai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ichwan Ie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adith Dewa having to interfere.
