Negeri Selangor's supporters rose to their feet, but Fery Sitepu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bulsky Ramadhonna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Negeri Selangor players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Seroelo FC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hardy Budiarto made a kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Fadh Barus sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Taufik Waluyo skillfully saved the ball. If Fery Sitepu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bulsky Ramadhonna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donny Piliang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Taufik Waluyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hardy Budiarto, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Hardy Budiarto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fery Sitepu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cecep Rezas short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Taufik Waluyo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Donny Piliang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bulsky Ramadhonna having to interfere. The Negeri Selangor supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Seroelo FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Seroelo FC.
