Paijo Romatua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hastomo Haryanto having to interfere. Donnie Muchtaji sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hastomo Haryanto came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sayoang's Donnie Muchtaji. But to his dismay, Donnie Muchtaji quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pulaudaro's Hastomo Haryanto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bulek Guchi in the 26th minute of play. Rexy Cahyono Putro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lelo Waluyo in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Donnie Muchtaji got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rexy Cahyono Putro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lelo Waluyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Donnie Muchtaji blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hastomo Haryanto having to make a save. In the 39th minute, one of Pulaudaro:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pulaudaro. In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Sayoang. Paijo Romatua stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hastomo Haryanto. 0-2. Lelo Waluyo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rexy Cahyono Putro having to make a save. Rexy Cahyono Putro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lelo Waluyo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 47 minute of play. After the first half Sayoang were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lelo Waluyo to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Paijo Romatua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sayoang's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paijo Romatua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hastomo Haryanto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donnie Muchtaji in the 55th minute. When Paijo Romatua fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sayoang's protests and gave Paijo Romatua a yellow card for diving instead. Paijo Romatua hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Donny Wibowo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sayoang's Rexy Cahyono Putro didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Pulaudaro's Tono Romatua got a free kick in the 59th minute. Donnie Muchtaji could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Hastomo Haryanto made a huge save. Gendo Chaniago kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Donny Wibowo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sayoang's Rexy Cahyono Putro didn't even have to move. 67 minutes into the match, Lelo Waluyo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rexy Cahyono Putro. Sayoang's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lelo Waluyo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Rexy Cahyono Putro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rochy Putiray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paijo Romatua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pulaudaro's Hastomo Haryanto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donnie Muchtaji in the 78th minute of play. Paijo Romatua struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Hastomo Haryanto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sayoang. After 80 played minutes Pulaudaro got a freekick which was hit by Donny Wibowo. Hastomo Haryanto was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Paijo Romatua capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paijo Romatua really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. After having played for 92 minutes, Donnie Muchtaji managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Fery Akmal fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pulaudaro's protests and gave Fery Akmal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Fery Akmal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Sayoang could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pulaudaro throughout the match.
