He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hastomo Haryanto. Steve Pane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Hastomo Haryanto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Nasum Alexander made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Joko Simamora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Boegoeba's goal looked a bit too open when Lelo Waluyo came free, but Martin Waluyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Boegoeba's goalkeeper Martin Waluyo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rochy Putiray. Candra Haryanto-Ie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hastomo Haryanto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Martin Waluyo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lelo Waluyo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 78 minute of play. Hastomo Haryanto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candra Haryanto-Ie in the 83rd minute of play. Pulaudaro's Hastomo Haryanto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candra Haryanto-Ie in the 85th minute of play. Martin Waluyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lelo Waluyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Rochy Putiray could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Martin Waluyo made a huge save. Nasum Alexander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hastomo Haryanto having to interfere. Pulaudaro's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
