Kitam Ramadhonna came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Laben's Micky Bangun. But to his dismay, Micky Bangun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Rareno booed when Laben was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daus Bangun didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 13 minutes, Firdaus Dewa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laben's supporters crossed their fingers, but Firdaus Dewa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Nasum Muchtaji had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Laben's goalkeeper Robbie Darwis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sigit Fitriansyah. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Firdaus Dewa sped through Rareno's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kitam Ramadhonna. Zulfikar Sugendo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Nasum Muchtaji had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Firdaus Dewa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kitam Ramadhonna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Laben's Firdaus Dewa fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Firdaus Dewa in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kitam Ramadhonna saved Rareno from getting behind. Kitam Ramadhonna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Firdaus Dewa, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 43 minutes into the game, Haryanto Yarman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rareno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laben the free kick. A collision led to Rareno getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Haryanto Yarman hit a great ball. Ricky Darwis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robbie Darwis. Laben's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Firdaus Dewa made the kick off in the second half. Kitam Ramadhonna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Micky Bangun in the 53rd minute of play. Kitam Ramadhonna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Micky Bangun in the 55th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Laben fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! Robbie Darwis came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Rareno's Adith Simanungkalit. But to his dismay, Adith Simanungkalit quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 73rd match minute, Rareno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adith Simanungkalit to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 75 minutes, Micky Bangun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laben's supporters crossed their fingers, but Micky Bangun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lelo Mulia kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Sigit Fitriansyah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbie Darwis having to interfere. Nasum Muchtaji struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Robbie Darwis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rareno. When the final whistle sounded Laben left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rareno.
