The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sabah. 25 minutes into the game, Alan Hidayat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Donny Reza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Donny Reza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Hidayat in the 32nd minute of the match. Budi Pane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uum Ie in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Uum Ie fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 40 minutes into the match, Sabah's goal looked a bit too open when Jojo Yarman came free, but Donny Reza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donny Reza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Hidayat in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alan Hidayat made a kick off. Donny Reza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jojo Yarman in the 53rd minute. After a rather tough play, Sabah's Haryanto Hans got a free kick in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Jonggandoer's Hastomo Dermawan got a free kick in the 58th minute. Donny Reza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Uum Ie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Budi Pane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uum Ie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jojo Yarman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donny Reza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Budi Pane didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uum Ie went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The Sabah supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jonggandoer's performance. The match ended with a win for Jonggandoer.
